Changing accounting firm
Change accounting firm without a gap in your tax filings
Not sure what to prepare, or where the previous work stands? Send us the basics first. We check what has to be taken over, plan the handover, and assess the fee before you decide.

Common signs
The things that make businesses look for a new firm
What clients tell us before they move.
- 01
You are always the one chasing
Questions go unanswered and you find yourself following up on filings and paperwork every month.
- 02
No copies of what was filed
You do not know which returns were submitted, and no copies or Revenue Department receipts come back to you.
- 03
Late filings, unclear fees
Returns and financial statements repeatedly late, or fees charged without a clear picture of what they cover.
What we check first
Send the records and we check them before you decide
We always look at the records first, so the scope and fee match the business as it really is.
- 01
Latest statements and filings
Which period was last closed, which returns have been filed, and what is outstanding.
- 02
What has to be taken over
The asset register, VAT reports, ledgers and the data in the previous accounting software.
- 03
Scope and fee
What the work covers, roughly what it costs and how documents are sent, all before we start.
The handover
A handover plan that keeps the filings continuous
You can change firms mid-year if the cut-over is planned properly.
- 01
A clear cut-over point
We agree which period the previous firm closes and which one we start on, so no month is missed.
- 02
Records from the previous firm
We list the documents and files to ask for, so we can continue rather than start the books again.
- 03
Deadline reminders
Once we take over, we tell you ahead of every filing what is due and what to send.
What to send
What to send us for the initial review
Send what you have. We tell you if anything else is needed after we talk.

- The asset register and the latest VAT reports, if you have them
- What the business does, the approximate document volume per month and the VAT status
- What went wrong with the previous firm, and anything you want us to look at in particular
Fees
Fees after you move
The same monthly accounting packages as every client, assessed on the real document volume after we review the records.
- Monthly accounting
- From 3,500 THB/month
- Taking over and tidying the previous records
- Assessed on the work
- Year-end closing and annual filings
- Assessed on the work
For up to 30 items a month. All packages are on the pricing page.
Depends on how complete the records from the previous firm are.
The actual fee depends on document volume, transactions, taxes, staff numbers and the nature of the business. The office reviews the records before quoting.
Frequently asked
About changing firms
Can I change accounting firm mid-year?
Yes. What matters is a clear cut-over: which period the previous firm closes and which one we start on, and getting the documents and data files from the previous firm before we begin.
How do I tell my current firm?
Give notice on the terms you agreed, and ask for your financial statements, tax returns, asset register and accounting data files back. We can give you the list of what to ask for.
What if the records from the previous firm are incomplete?
Send what you have. We see what is missing and tell you where to get it, such as copies of filed returns from the Revenue Department system.
When do I get the fee?
After we have looked at the initial records, we tell you the scope and the fee before any work starts, with no obligation to move.
Start by sending us the records
You do not have to decide today. Send your latest statements and filings, we check what has to be taken over, and we give you the fee before we start.
